R. Enfield: A CAG[e] Gallery Exhibition

On September 20th, I visited the Edna Manley College of the Visual and Performing Arts to meet with fellow photographer Darien Robertson. While there, he had an assignment to photograph the opening of a new exhibition by the CAG[e] Gallery that was opening. As I had finished with my own assignment earlier that day, I needed to kill some time until my next occasion later that evening. The exhibition featured the works of an alumnus of the Edna Manley College and student of the late Cecil Cooper; Robbert Enfield. Originally from Suriname, Enfield came to Jamaica to develop his passion and love art at the College, from which he graduated in 1999 and since then has had several exhibitions within the Caribbean and across Europe. Eventually, he made his way back to Jamaica to showcase his work and also hosted a few workshops with students while here. His exhibition ran from September 20th to October 1st, 2017.
